It obviously means Sunnie Day and believe me, there are no exaggeration in my words. Sunnie has a gift and it is not only the one of writing. Indeed, her truest gift is the one of her heart where writing becomes her “Artistry Instrument” in order to bring everything out on paper/screen for our greatest pleasure. She cares… she loves… she gives… that is what you’ll find in Sunnie’s beautiful work.

This being said, you should know that I always like to tease my readers, therefore you should pay attention to HOW I say things… Sunnie Day is an amazing story teller, and I suspect that it is because she is such a lady that her stories are SO good. They are not always fictional and some of her work at Hubpages will unveil more truth about Sunnie than you might be able to handle… Trust me on that, goodness can be overwhelming, but it makes me so happy to count her as my friend and a great colleague, so I know you’ll enjoy her company. I asked her what motivated her to write and she answered – I quote -

“Honestly it is so relaxing… it gets me out of my head… haha… I am such a deep thinker and sometimes writing just releases me… Does that make sense? I also love to make people happy and feel better… life is so hard and I hope to make people feel good about themselves and life…”

It does make sense and dear friend: mission accomplished.

When she is not busy being amazing through her own creations, she creates even more for others on her newly built WordPress blog “Sunnie Day’s Pen to Page“.

I have only just read “The Insignificant Penny” and I remember with a smile what Sunnie Day said on Novelty Fiction. “One of my favorite things to do as an author is to construct a story in which an object is given a life. It takes a life of its own.” Knowing this, I understand better why the simple tale of this American penny has astounded me so. Sunnie does make it happen: life into a non-animated object; this is ridiculously good and such a fun read. I time-traveled on different continents, met people, fell in and out of love in seconds; together with the penny I went about the world and witnessed man’s folly just like his tenderness.  Right up until the end I followed “The Insignificant Penny” and smiled with a tear coming up my eye. This short story is a must read because it is fresh, tender, funny and told brilliantly.

All I can say now is this: I do hope that, one day, we will see a hard copy book regrouping these stories around inanimated objects. In the meantime, I suggest that you go an read some of them on Hubpages:
