It takes a special person

There are people who cross your path and you wonder how you went all that way without them “by your side”. As you well understood my meaning, Vincent is one of these people who, I am fortunate to say, entered my life a few months ago (June 2011). I said once about Vincent that he was like a slap in the face that one was longing for and said “thank you” when it arrived.

Vincent is first and foremost a poet who lets his soul talk through his quill. He has the talent to make one shiver with discomfort, smile in metaphors, shed tears as he shows the darkest side of mankind and at the same time the beauty of his heart. He is one of these authors who cannot be left alone, or saved for later… he is to be read with passion and enthusiasm.

Sunnie Day’s Pen to Page says about Vincent Moore:

“It is my honor to introduce you to a charming and gifted writer whom I refer to as Saddlerider, and more recently my dear friend Ken.”

Now, of course Vincent is a very busy bee since he writes on Hubpages – where he celebrated his 100th hub this August 2011. He is more and more active on his blog, Poetry in Motion, you have got to love that title… There are loads to read and even a little to listen to, so just go have a look-it ’cause this is a place worth the detour.

Published work:

In Melancholia (September 2011) ~*NEW*~

In Absinthia (August 2011)

Book: In Absinthia

“In Absinthia” is Vincent Moore‘s first book and I am sure that many more will follow.

About the book:

“In Absinthia is a collection of poetry. Vincent Moore pens his thoughts about many things and has a style all his own. Sometimes, he parties with words excessively and it becomes necessary to publish quickly lest his work be lost in the dark corners of his room or his mind. Not just another pretty mask with eloquent words, Vincent will lead you into mysterious worlds that are strange yet somehow familiar, worlds that will leave you unsettled and breathless for more.” – Amazon’s Book description.

My Amazon Review

(a baby review since another one is in the making)

There are some people whose gift with words knocks you out, and Vincent Moore surely is one of them. His poetry envelops the reader like a sneaky fog and drags you into a dark world… his world. Vincent Moore is life’s poet; he sees and feels all the hurts, he shares more than that though. The first time I read his work, I was hooked for life. “In Absinthia” by Vincent Moore will be an experience in itself and you will not be disappointed.
